Frozen Gold

Undulation in mosaic using 24k gold smalti, white smalti and glass pieces.

This is inspired from my recent trip to Alaska. I have tried to work on the concept of gold mining which has been going on in Alaska since more than 100 years. Tons of gold have come out of the state over the last century, and plenty of the yellow stuff is still in the ground waiting to be found!
